About

Yiga means
to learn.

Africa needs roughly three million advanced digital professionals a year and produces about seventy thousand. We built Yiga to close that gap with the device most people already own.

Our story

Built where the constraint is real.

Yiga started from a simple frustration: world-class courses existed, but they assumed fast internet, a laptop, a card and a first language. We rebuilt the experience around a phone, a small data bundle, mobile money and four languages.

“They did not build a Western course library and translate it. They built for the network we actually have.”
